Hopefully its well made i bought a cheap bean bag before and it would strain anytime you sat on it. Eventually it burst along the seam not. crappy thing.
19 euro aint bad for delivery for something from the uk in fairness

Hopefully a better company than the last crowd that tried to do cheap beanbags, which were infurn, which took 6 months for a few to get it and then lots didnt actually get it at all when they folded. If these are the same though as the ones we got from Infurn, they are pretty awesome. For the money, great value. Still loving mine XD

It looks like that infurn company are still active they have an up to date website. Strange. I looked at the other thread on the bean bags you were talking about.

.. I take it the bean bags come with beans..................right.???????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28 carrollreid

I got the green faux suede one, and it's very well made. The beans come in a bag, separate to the cover, and you have to put them in yourself. Takes only a minute, but does need 2 people.

I'm very happy with the quality, for the price. :D

Anyone else having problems redeeming the voucher from this??
The voucher says valid from 16/03, but the website will not accept the code. Says it's not recognised

Yeah, farce got this back from groupon

    Thanks for your email.

I have now raised this matter with the company directly to resolve the problem with the code. Please allow a period of 5 working days.

I would also recommend checking every couple of days to see if the problem has been resolved before they reach you to advise of the rectification.

Hope that helps but should you have any further queries please feel free to contact me

    Kind regards

Hey shorty was on the 20th I FINALLY got the order through there was a screw up with the web site. Ill see it in about 6 hours time will report back then.
As i say I priced up similar in shops and they are all 3 to 4 times more expensive. Im hoping it will be decent quality though. As bought a cheapy from Home store and more and it is about to burst really crappy quality only fit for putting your feet on really

Emmmm. its a cloth bag ..........with a load of white packing foam styrofoam balls like you pack boxes with.... Hmmm no beans lol
so i paid for packing foam.......
Is that what bean bags are normally filled with styrofoam packing balls

Hmm well if thats what they are filled with then its grand, i assumed the filling would be a bit more than just cheap strofoam balls. Is this what expensive bean bags are filled with also?

Ah fook it anyway I thought it would be the proper beans?? I know the material was to be suede rather then leather........?

Have you filled it up etc yet? What's it like now? Comfort, and size?? I am a bit disappointed now on hearing that :(

Eh well now to be honest i think it said they are normally 150 or so euro? Well No i dont think they are worth that, Unless of course the bean bags on other web sites are also filled with cheap styrofoam. Suppose i should have enquired as to the filling. TBH if i had known it was styrofoam I would not have ordered it.
Its grand for what we paid I suppose but dont get to excited. Quality wise hmmmm ok. The casing in my humble opinion is quite light too. Very thin, yes it is a suede like material. all in all

My one is due for delivery tomorrow, it's actually a present for someone who was on about the Fat Boy Bean Bags & I had read that the Big Bertha's are meant to be better in quality and not much difference in size.. Now I am not sure weather to give it or not..! ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,097 ✭✭✭✭zuroph

Yes, its usually styrofoam beads, has been in every bean bag I've ever seen anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,383 ✭✭✭peckerhead

Styrofoam filling shouldn't cost more than about €20. Think I'll make up the bag myself from an old swimsuit of the wife's... :pac:

Nah Fat Boys are the best bean bags you can buy, the rest are just copies. I have had them for the last 10 years, haven't worn out on me yet and I store mine outside all summer long.

Would somebody be able to take a photo of their bean bag? I'd like to get an idea of how big it really is before I buy.

This deal is back on: http://www.groupon.ie/deals/national-deals/Big-Bertha/7522536?nlp=&CID=IE_CRM_1_0_0_185&a=1676
Not the Pod, just the Heffer this time.

Got one of these recently from their last Groupon deal. Very happy with it, just takes ages to arrive, about 4 weeks.

Got the voucher - looking for a "wine" or "dark red" coloured one - which of the colour options would anyone know be suitable....

Did anyone get the Red or Cerise? Are they really bright?

Its so hard to make out the colours from the tiny swatches on the ordering page - the lads here wont appreciate a huge pink beanbag in the room...

    Thanks :)
