I'm looking to join a Angling club, what do you have to do to join one?

I'm living in portlaoise (dont think there is any angling clubs in Portlaoise) i travel to dublin some weekends and would like to join a club .

I dont do much fishing and when i do i rarely catch so i reckon a club would be best way to get experience , i like trout and sea fishing.

so any advise would be great

mountmellick angling club would be closest to you its 30 euro per year and can fish from mountmellick through to near monasterevin
