Driving share price up with a single buy

    Hey

Have a question! If you say you bought a lot of shares in a company(in large volume), and say if it was a huge amount, you bring share price up. Is it legal or possible to sell all your shares right after you bought them. At the higher price and make a profit from it. If you can i could imagine it would be illegal.

Ive been thinking about it for weeks now and I cant find anything to support it.

    Thanks :)

If a share is so illiquid that a purchase drives up the price, chances are your selling would drive the price right back down again.
