The most useful attachment you've used?

As it says, what's the most 'real world' useful attachment you've used ingame? Some people have said that ingame they don't actually use sights/scopes that much. I have an Aug A3 with 4 empty rails, a foregrip on the bottom one leaves 3 with nothing on them.

I was waiting until I was more used to the feel of the gun but I'm not sure what be useful and not just cool or gimmicky

Aye, and I have one, but it doesn't attach to the rails, I meant a rail attachment specifically :P

A red/green dot scope that I got from Eirsoft a few years back. I think it was meant for an air rifle and they ordered a batch of them in by accident. It was so accurate and was much better than iron sights. Especially with the big chunky g36c sights!
And of course the RIS adapter mount I got so it would fit

Am I the only one that finds torches, sights and scopes useful? It seems like most people here are very down on attachments :D

I have a G&P Aimpoint on my P90, and it makes aiming an awful lot easier than the god-awful iron sights. Similarly, it was on the same setup that a laser came in very handy. My Aimpoint died (turned out when I changed the batteries I'd left the battery cover slightly loose, so it wasn't finishing the connection), and it blocked the iron sights so I could barely aim - flicked on the laser, used for about 90 seconds and got roughly 4-5 kills, and flicked it off for I found out the problem with the Aimpoint :D

Similarly I find torches are great for quick-scanning dark recesses, and for disorientating enemies - they aim at the torch, which is not necessarily where you are, which I find helpful. It's all about tact though...if you use it too much then everyone will know where you are, but just enough and you can gain a small advantage.

    Attachments I use:
    - Dot Sights
    - Scopes
    - M203 Launchers
    - Sling Mounts
    - Torches

Most useful attachment would likely be a dot sight

Only thing I've used are sights, sling points and an m203 the odd time.

1x sights I've gone off - I used to use an EOTech but I found I could sight with iron sights a lot quicker. Now I use an Elcan Spector with 4x mag and iron sights on the top, really good for dropping shots on people or seeing where you're hop is taking the fire (plus I'm a blind bastard).

I've used an m203 effectively maybe twice in 3 years. Fun, though :-)

so far all i have is an Acog and a torch. havent had the time/location to be able to zero the scope correctly and my face protection plays havoc with it so for now its useless. but the torch was great especially at a recent game in vacant with lots of dark spots a torch that has a pressure switch was great coz if you saw a body you coudl flash the light at an arm see the band and if the colour was wrong take your shot.

I find my most useful attachment to be a grip that slips onto my M4's magwell. As that isn't rail mounted though, my second most useful is my sight. Huge improvement over the iron sites in my opinion. No magnification but still works so much better than the irons.

Looks like a lot of people like sights then, I might grab a cheap rds and give it a spin. Although I'm not sure my mask allows tight hugging of the gun. Might need to raise the height to use one comfortably.

    I use a fore grip and a 10x sight.
In hind sight a x4 would be loads though.
If I played indoor more I would go with a torch and maybe a laser.
I see plenty of guys with 203's ..... Don't see them used a hell of a lot though.
