    Story here

This is so tragic that the orphans in her care are now left bereft. Hopefully the community in which she worked can band together to take over their care.

Seems odd to thank that post (bit like "Liking" the Japanese earthquake on Facebook), but it is good that you brought this very sad story to attention. The poor woman must have suffered terribly. I hope they throw the book at these men.

It can be a disservice to the victim, but I always think there must be more to the story in these incidents. For the sake of sanity. The thought that such wicked senseless deeds can be perpetrated like this, is just scary. I remember a Louis Theroux programme on a South African shanty town type place outside Jo'berg. There was one gangster in it, that said that if people didn't pay him money he felt owed, he would put their baby in the oven or microwave. To this day, I still feel traumatised recalling it. You just feel a sinking in the pit of your stomach that such people exist.:(
