After having my bike stolen recently i am looking to replace it. i Have been looking at the Canyon Roadlite 7.0 for e1250. I find this offer hard to beat, is there anything else i should consider?

i am planning to race on it too with a wheel upgrade planned later in the year... possibly Ksyrium Elites or Cosmics...
    thanks

Canyon Roadlite 6.0 for €999 :pac:

Yup, it can be beaten! but the aluminium/carbon & ultegra combo is what really appeals to me. I saw Eurocycles have a Corratec model, very similar to the 7.0 but at e1400 reduced from e1900...with white and red paint-job. Already owned a red bike, not keen on another...

Hay ba, like you my bike was nicked although mine just last Friday and I'm giving the Roadlite 6.0 serious consideration. Went to Eurocycles and had a look at Focus, Felt, Corretec and Trek and really they can't match a full 105 gruppo and Aksiums at that price. I hope to be able to get it through my cycle to work scheme in work. The only reservation is it's 5 week lead time :(. I'm going for the XL (60cm) as I'm 6ft 2in, would prefer the Team black and yellow but that's a 7 week wait.

What size are you thinking in the 7.0, versus your height?

Looking at purchasing an ultimate al 8.0, better geometry than the roadlite imho, especially if you are racing. I would go with the 60cm I am 6'4'' and the 60cm in the AL is perfect for me.
