I have two phone lines from Goldfish.ie and am very happy with the service so far, however seemingly enough I can only have one Voip device connected at any one time whereas I would like two (or more) devices to be connected.

I have a Linksys WRP400 Voip router and a Linksys SPA942 IP phone that I would like to connect, by all accounts I can do it by setting up a server and installing PBX software on it.

Does anyone know if there any Simple device that I can get to connect and register to to Goldfish and then all my internal phones would connect and register to that device ?

    Hi there,

At the moment how many SIP accounts have Goldfish given to you or have they provided one a trunk type sip service to you? I presume the latter that you have two SIP accounts one for each number.

So you have the same device with the support of two phone lines and you cannot get both to register?:
I suggest you try for SIP account 1 have the port 5060 and SIP account 2 have the port 5061. You shouldn't have to do this though. Setup a stun server. If your getting nowhere, factory reset the device and reconfigure and everything should work fine with the 2 sip accounts registering. Obviously check that you used the correct sip server, username/password etc

I think what your looking for is a small PBX, I've never heard of many that just do one thing. Perhaps you could install the freepbx distro on an unused computer? This can connect to the LAN and share the trunk. (http://www.freepbx.org)

Goldfish have a limit of 2 concurrent calls per number in most cases.

You could use a service such as pbxes.org which is free for a certain number of extensions and more for advanced telephony like queues, call shops etc

    Hope this helps

You can get a free windows based SIP server that will register your accounts and give you fairly good features
