    You cant burn these fire logs in stoves.

    Why not? I've chucked a few into the Aga when we got a couple for free. Don't remember any adverse affect.

    The various firelogs actually cause a build up of creasote and wax in the stove/applience and can cause problems with fumes,smoke and potential chimney fire hazards in the chimney lining.

    The various firelog packets even state on the back of them (in small print) "not suitible for closed appliences/stoves"
