Vodafone Smart - Unlocking Code?

Hey, Just wondering found this about the house and want to try get it unlocked to work with the 48 sim card... Anyone know how I can get this done free?.. It is locked to Vodafone... Have not topped it up for a while though... Any suggestions? Thanks, John
