I assume you are talking about the 54 EUR to 64 EUR sim only eMobile plan?

You might be better off considering the below 30 EUR package with Meteor:
€30 top up gives you €30 credit and free any network any time calls for 30 days and €20 free bonus credit every month for 12 months.

You can use your €30 credit to purchase data add-ons.

Just so you know, they will charge you for some texts . If for example you text the RTE daytime radio show, Radio 1 is 51551, you wont be charged as a premium text on most networks or plans, but you will with Emobile . Having said that, i live out in the countryside, very rural county cavan and i am, after 6 months, still stunned at the broadband coverage i get with emobile on my samsung galaxy s2 phone

Perfectly normal. Text messages in bundles never include premium texts.
