Rumor: Donkey Kong 3ds?

Read this yesterday. Turns out the cover is the same as a DS game a few years back. Is the EB Games store just chancing their arm in preorders to make a little cash as I am sure a new DK game on the 3DS will come out at some stage.

What say you?

This above photo was taken at EB Games. As you can see in the middle row, there are boxes with cover art for Donkey Kong 3D, a game that hasn’t been announced. This could easily enough be a mistake, or it could be something. What makes it feel like this is on the “something” end of the scale is the person who took the photo clarified that they were able to pay money to preorder the game, so EB Games believes it exists.
A listing has also appeared on Multiplayer.com, and I’m really hoping this is simply not a weird data error, as Donkey Kong is my favourite character from Nintendo. But for now, it is most definitely a rumor.

Haha, yeah people in the States (are stupid) seem to think Smash will be out this year for some odd reason!

The guy(name escapes me right now) who makes the SSB and Kid Icuras games only started to higher people a few weeks back to start a build for the 3DS AND the Wii-U, SSB wont be out for at least 2 years.


But DK3DS, I will be buying it, if and when its out.

I think the picture of EB games was from Australia, not America, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't blame'em if they went back to the DKC well, Country Returns on the Wii is just stocked with drool-inducing quality. I guess that'd be dependent on Retro Studios' involvement, and also this not being a ****ty joke, of course.
