i have used them a good few times and never had any problems, usually have a good range of clubs in stock / clothes. They are also connected to a local driving range (not 100% sure where though) and you can try out some of the clubs there.

I reckon best golf shop in the western half of the country. I recently got a fair bit of kit there a left v happy with what I'd spent. The sticker price was not the bottom line either I got about 15% off on top.
I don't know how they compare price wise with clothing though, but they seemed to be well stocked looking around.
To give a guide I got the taylormade tmx staff bag r9/burner model new for €135. It's a cracking bag an older model now but decent discount from original price. Happy shopping.

No equals and you should hear Declan the minute you walk
    in the door.

+1 on the above comments, a great shop, very well stocked and very competitive prices. I believe they have the shop at the Galway driving range and I played an open day in Athenry recently and I think there was a GolfStyle placard there also so not sure if they've taken over that pro shop also. Declan used to be based in Athenry so would make sense.

The only other shop in the Galway region to come anywhere near GolfStyle in terms of selection and price is the pro shop at the Galway Golf Club but it's about 1/10th the size of the main GolfStyle shop.

I've bought several things in golfstyle over the years and always been a happy customer. In May last year I bought a new jpx 800 driver there. Unfortunately today the face cracked, nearly a year and a month to the day since my purchase.
I went back into the shop expecting to have to empty my wallet on a new/secondhand driver as a) it was over a year since the purchase & b) i had long since dumped the receipt.
Anyway i spoke to Declan, explained the situation and how I didn't have my receipt, he walks straight over to the mizuno stand, finds the exact model and hands a new one over to me, no questions asked.
    Great customer service.
I have bought a few clubs online over the years but never again ...how could you compete with the above experience.

    +1 on all the above.

All golf shops should be run by guys like Declan Cunningham.
Here's an example ; guy comes into his shop shopping for a different driver.
Declan asks him to wait a mo, goes & gets his camera, then takes a couple of shots of the customer with club in his usual stance. He then shows the pics to the guy and explains why his present driver (or any other driver ever made) is not working for him. Guy goes away without buying anything.

    But ..

He'll be back. And not just once. And he'll tell his mates.

If Dec had just sold him some other driver which didn't work, the guy wouldn't be back.

First you make a customer. Then he buys from you. You never have to 'sell' anything but yourself.

It's a great shop was in there today, but it's quite pricey! You could save quite a lot of money shopping online! I also think the clothes section could be better organised! But don't get me wrong massive selection and great staff!

Didn't see anything there to hit balls, they used to have a shop at a driving range in salt hill but I don't think it's there anymore!

I think they run the shop in Athenry GC. It has a small range and nice practice area.
