    Hi Guys,
Trying to put together some fitness tests for our club - senior hurling.

We have 0 cash so it has to be simple. lol Any & every advice welcome!!
Can you maybe help so that we can have 'realistic' goals.
Any additional tests you can think of would be great!

1 - BF % for the thin lads, BMI for the fat lads. Aim for < 15% BF for everyone. Hopefully 10% but that might be a bit much
    2 - 3k < 12mins
    3 - 150s shuttle test > 700
    4 - 30m sprint from whistle start < 4.2seconds
    5 - Vertical jump > 22"
6 - Some form of illinois type shuttle/change of direction - no idea for a goal
    7 - > 5 chin ups strict form
8 - pistol squat - at least be able to do one with good form each leg

    Any extras?
Would be very interested to know what would be a good score esp on the standard tests such as 150s, 3k, 30m
    Thanks!

you could follow some of the protocols used in the afl draft combine. bearing in mind that these lads are the best young prospects in aussie rules battling it out for top pick in the draft some of their times/scores may be out of reach for the normal club player.
the fitness tests can be found here

i am not sure about setting minimum performance limits but i think the best use of performance tests is repeat testing after a block of training to assess individual performance improvements
