Should i take protein shakes while training 2 days a week.

    I weight 192 pounds and am 6ft tall. I train 2 days a week with my local footy team. I would like to tone up my whole body. I always see people taking protein shakes. I'm just wondering should i start taking them? If so when would i take them? After training or everyday?
