Samsung Galaxy S2 Applications problem

Woke up this morning and went to use my phone and all my apps including the market place are all greyed out and when I try to press them it says "Application no longer installed on this phone" Any one know what the problem might be?

In the menu or on your home screens?
The market was renamed to Play store recently so that might have something to do with it?
