I would say you are in the minority with this opinion.

Most people don't like going in to work on Monday.

Minority report - yes they are

    monday club
The Hang over monday which sees many males and often females skipping work to recieve a hair of the dog, curer from their weekend of binge drinking in the nearest watering hole.
On entering the pub: "We see we have a new addition to the monday club"

"Bob is often a monday club member"

    2. monday club

Also known as the Mondgay Club or the Monday Night Club. An all male group which is renowned for not being able to pull ladies of their own age, so have to resort to preying on younger girls by abusing their own limited positions of authority in organisations and plying them with lots of alcohol. If this doesn’t work they usually turn to their peers’ siblings, and if this fails they bum each other.

“I just bummed my mates’ brother, so I suppose that makes me an honorary Monday Club member!!”

When I was younger I think I hated Sunday evenings more than Mondays themselves because of Mondays.

:eek:Never knew there was a name for it
and according to experts in the field

Whatever you choose to do though, it’s your time to do what you like before you get back to work again, the beginning of which is initiated by what experts call “Glenroe Syndrome”.

The name originates from young people of a certain age who knew bedtime and indeed bath time, was imminent when the legendary Irish soap aired every Sunday night. That sinking feeling we all got every Sunday night is still present in us, long after Dinny, Biddy and Miley ceased to be.

    :D:D

I found Sundays unbearable! Mass, big Sunday dinner, the boredom as my mates were at their nannies house or some crap. Mammy making sure the uniform is clean and seeing if there was any homework need done, pondering on pulling a sicky the night before, the Sunday game and of course Glenroe, the day was over before you knew it.

Agreed, used to get a mad sinking feeling on Sunday nights before school. And RTE always put on the worst TV on Sundays to make it worse, Glenroe, The Clinic and Raw.

Now I'm self employed and love Mondays, fresh start to the week :D
