    another pyjama wearer:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    But he doesn't always practise his craft in the conventional sense. "I suffer from insomnia a lot so sometimes I write during the night or play... sometimes in my pyjamas, sometimes without anything on if it's too warm," he revealed.

    In case anyone is wondering why he decided to tell us this now -

    "Kennedy, who is a judge on RTE's The Voice, has also just completed his new album -- and will perform at the Olympia on June 8 and 9."

    Z-list singer walks off second-rate chat show after petty row with Z-list presenter and Z-list showbiz journalist. Is this what we’re getting for our license fee these days?

    RTE reached whole new levels of cringe broadcasting on The Saturday Night Show last night when pairing off Brian Kennedy with his nemesis, Irish Daily Mirror showbiz correspondent Paul Martin, not long after the terrible two-some engaged in a wine-throwing feud in Celebrity Come Dine With Me, celebrity obviously being used in the loosest sense of the word.

    Trying to engineer a schmaltzy reunion between the pair, host Brendan O’Connor’s plan backfired spectacularly when Kennedy refused to play ball, acting the right diva throughout and eventually earning the disdain of the audience, who jeered the Belfast singer as if he was some sort of pantomime villain.

    But while Kennedy was the obvious loser in the piece, walking off the set after a spectacular hissy fit, nobody came out well from the entire episode, with O’Connor eventually joining Martin and the audience in ganging up on Kennedy and Martin himself searching for cheap vindication at the very end, when he said that Kennedy walking out was “a classless act by a classless person”.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    "Kennedy, who is a judge on RTE's The Voice, has also just completed his new album -- and will perform at the Olympia on June 8 and 9."

    And:

    When drawn on the matter, the Belfast-born singer -- who has just finished penning his autobiography -- refused to stamp out the rumour, saying with a grin: "Oh dear. I can't confirm or deny."

    I didn't know we had any 'out' guys on the national rugby team. And they will hardly be pleased with all of this if they're not 'out' already.

    I believe that the Irish women's team had a good victory over the Scottish women at the weekend. I wonder if Brian's missus was playing?

    So a new album, a new autobiography and a slot on a TV show to promote. His PR team are earning their fee then! The Sindo laps up crap like this.

    Circa 2000 he was staying in a Dublin 4 Hotel and I witnessed him having a meltdown at reception. Screaming and crying, seriously his mascara was running:eek:. It seems that his new jeep, a present from his record label (back in the day!!) had been pranged and he wanted the culprit brought to him right then!! No matter how the poor receptionist explained that she would have to review the video footage to attempt to establish who the culprit was, he would not let it go, before it was all over there were 5/6 assorted managers and security trying to calm him down, and all the time he still maintained it was the responsibility of reception to have stopped this from happening. Most obnoxious performance I have ever seen. Nothing from him would surprise me...Gives Divas a bad name!!
