Programming career

    Hi

I have a Business Information Systems degree and am looking to begin an IT career. However I have graduated in 2009 and have forgotten a lot of what I did in college (not that I was overly good at programming in the first place). I have been working abroad in a business related field (Not IT) but I am looking to make the transition to an IT related discipline because of the "apparent" abundance of IT jobs in Ireland at the moment.

My question is where is the best place to start? What languages should I begin brushing up on? JAVA, PHP, SQL, HTML....???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Brushing up on them all wouldn't hurt. If you already have them in your head somewhere it shouldn't take too long. 2 years isn't that long. The more you know, the better chance you have of a good job.
