Base 1 rush defense; this has taken me a while longer then usual but lets see.

    Assumptions:
Enemy rushes with at least 10 IS-7s, most likely 12 and have none/limited arty support doing a split rush.

We got a usual mix of heavy (E100/Maus) and DPS (T30/JT) base defenders and up to 3 arty rest being IS-7/medium and planned a B line crossing.

Here's some important facts, base 2 rushes base 1 ~15s faster then the other way due to the ramp layout. This means we can never out rush base 2 from base 1.

Starting point are the large icons; we notice the rush as we're moving north. Their IS-7s will be half way over the map.

We need to directly push 4-5 IS-7s for the A hill and move all our arty to the ramp. We're still going to give up the south and our base defenders pull back to spot for arty only (no peaking around corners). The small icons represent our new location.

We basically fortify the A corner with arties down in the bushes (great hiding from viewing distance) with IS-7s spread along the ridges to provide fire support on the side. Arty because they relocated to A has full access to the hill side and most of our base and because the A hill is defended we're also free to push over to their base once we feel comfortable on the contain. Here's a bird's eye view from the positions we should hold.

They now need to push up under arty fire, we're still spotting around the cap (and got 2 IS-7s to move back if needed for more spotting) and can arty them as they come up the south area in general.

I would say that that picture is from a battle but it's been photoshoped so that we don't see the players :) just guessing :)
