I have a 03 Almera and I'm going to try and change the battery but I have no manual for the radio code. Is there anywhere I can get the code? I don't want to be without the radio.

Sometimes it's written on the radio itself. Pull it out a bit and have a look.
Or check the manual, it could be there.

I have no manual for the car and its all one unit I can't just pull the radio out.

Ah, I see now you didn't have manual. A dealer should be able to provide the code, I don't know if there's a cost involved.

have you got jump leads and the use of another car?

If you're stuck, you can just get another battery and jumpleads and keep them (and the battery of course) connected to the terminals from the time you remove them from your original battery to when they are back on the new battery.

Seems a bit dodgy, I don't want to go blowing up the new battery.
