I know adult tickets are €25 but I'm trying to bring a couple of friends to the Club Final next Saturday. I previously got a student discount for attending GAA games from a booth where they give cash back for the same ticket every adult buys. Will the system be the same at the Final or is this only for Championship games.
    Cheers

It'll be the same, Block D at the back of the Cusack Stand. I say you'll get €5 or €10 back on Cusack/ Davin tckets.

Entry is free for season ticket holders of all counties so you'll surely know some regular match goer who can loan you their ticket?

Even if I did, I've a gang going so we need the seats together.

Once you get in getting seats together mightn't be an issue, what crowd is expected? 25K? I think season ticket holders will be given the option later in the week to print off tickets. I can e-mail you mine if you wish. I'm sure a few others might do the same, save yourselves 25 quid.

    Folks,

It is great that we've a great community going and that we share around, personally I think it's great people helping each other out by giving each others tickets, but (mod hat on) the transfer of tickets, especially Season Tickets is prohibited by the T&Cs of the tickets, please do not discuss this on here, if you really want to discuss, feel free to use the PM function of course ;)

Cheers Clareman I'll PM in future.

I think transfering tickets isn't an issue though once you're not selling it on.

"Does this now mean my GAA Season Ticket is non-transferable?
No! You can of course pass on your GAA Season Ticket to a friend or family member to use if you cannot attend."

That was from last year though so maybe it's changed this year.

    Friend/Family Member/Some guy from the internet :)

I could have sworn that my season ticket was non-transferable, saying that I'd be struggling to get someone to go to some of the Clare matches :)

Does anyone think €25 is a bit steep for this.

Granted, you'll get a good number from the 4 clubs involved and their own hinterland. But I just think at €25, its a bit steep considering the amount of people that will be in Dublin on the day, and may decide at the last minute.

Seems good value if you are interested in both games, though I'll probably only stay for the one.

I think €25 is grand price considering you are getting 2 games in ... however the bad part is its €5 for kids into the Cusack but €25 for kids into the Hogan where the presentation will take place.

Can you just turn up with a season ticket and mosey on in or do you have to reserve a seat and print out a ticket?

You need to register your interest and they send you a ticket to print off, think its too late to register now though.

€25 is very steep considering that it was €13 into Croker for the hurling/football double header last weekend. I don't see how this will be worth twice that price.

It would be great if the games were a bit more incorporated into the whole St. Patrick's Day experience. I've been to the last few club finals and there are always a few visitors to the country at the games, but a bit more integration with the parade and festivities wouldn't go amiss. A good chance to get Croker half-full and show off the games to the world.
