Chicken masala in a slow cooker?

Just wondering, I usually make this the usual way on the hob, but I'm cooking for about 20 people and have just stripped out several chicken carcasses and wondered if I could just throw it all in the slow cooker along with some veg, or should I really brown it all off??
    Thanks

I'd go for it in the slow cooker. Save yourself a lot of bother, especially when cooking for 20.
