thinking of getting back on the road,,questions

    I drove small bikes for about 12 years and passed my test around 8 years ago but starting driving the car and never got the full bike licence (stupid of me) I now have full car licence,,do i have to start from scratch to get a bike or does my car licence mean i dont need to do theory test etc.
    any advice on this,,thanks in advance

    You will need to start from scratch i'm afraid.
    Theory test for category A
    Get Learner Permit
    Initial Basic Training

    Plenty of threads about it on here.

    cheers for that it was very stupid of me to let my licence die but thought i would never ride bikes again,,just getting the fire back in the belly again..

    If you had a full licence you dont have to start from scratch as long as its under 10 years 5 years for a Learner.

    OP didn't have his full licence for the bike.
