He played for Ireland in the Pre WC warmups, not sure if that counts?

Was Alex Cuthbert already capped? Even so he's a "big" find for Wales. He may not be as talented as North but he is a top class winger in his own right it seems. (Actually think he was capped in the oddly timed Shane Williams testimonial)

I'd forgotten about that, the WC warm ups always end up a blur to me once the WC is over. I'd say it counts...a cap is a cap after all...

Cuthbert got capped against Australia before Christmas.

The Italian winger, Venditti, made his debut in the 6 Nations, as did Tobias Botes. They also brought on a centre against England for his first cap, but I can't think of his name.

Yeah, you're right, he got his first cap against England.
