    Quite a few showed up for this - I'd say well over 1000 anyway, they're a bit more organised than the no household charge crowd

    I always get confused on this topic. Are they protesting that the small 2/3 teacher schools should be kept open or closed down?

    Kept open.

    I think the Gov will have a policy in the future of trying to get smaller schools to amalgamate and save money, but it will be interesting to see how they address the issue of Protestant faith schools.

    I know that here in Donegal a lot of these are small schools, and their closing down may be seen as an anti-Protestant decision, when it probably won't be.
