Re-enamelling a cast iron bath tub

A friend of mine is dumping a cast iron bath. Problem is, it is an attractive 1970’s blue! I am half tempted to take it off his hands as we only have a cheap nasty plastic tub. Just wondering what is involved in re-enamelling a cast iron tub, would it even be possible to paint it white?

That looks really good mad m, do you know anyone who has done it? Just wondering how hard it is to get a decent finish.

I've done it plus I've seen baths done in it. It actually turns out great, now as the longevity of it, who knows? Depends on how many times its used etc.

Just make sure you really prep the bath well. Mask off, and make sure you have enough venilation.
