This is a must-win for QPR, this is the last time they're playing a team in the "bottom five" and in their remaining league fixtures, they still have to play Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Bolton on the otherhand have a wonderful run-in, but have a squad that's desperately poor. This game could be a decider between the two clubs in who goes down.

    QPR 2-0 Bolton

Or anything below 3.5 goals is fine. It's part of an accumulator.

Really looking forward to this and Wolves V Blackburn. I love relegation 6 pointers when my team isn't involved!

    A draw here IMO. 1-1.

Am I the only one that wants to see QPR go down after watching The Four Year Plan?

That and it would mean we wouldn't have to look at Joey Barton gimping it up anymore.

Great first touch from Ngog to take it past a QPR defender, the second touch was a shot in the box that ended closer to the corner flag than the goal.

Post from Zamora. Bolton defenders look very nervous.

Legitimate goal for QPR disallowed. Where were the Bolton defenders?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Miles over.

Howler from the officials there. Header from Clint Hill a good yard over the line but not given.

QPR to get a dodgy penalty in the second half.

WTF was the linesman at? Looking straight across at it....obviously day dreaming

    Why?

Terrible dive from N'Gog...but shouting in his face like that is uncalled for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

This lad Diakhte looks a bit of a hatchetman.

    1-0 Bolton.

    He's a fucking liability.

And Wright-Phillips can fuck off, too.

He's been indirectly responsible for the most entertaining part of the first half...Cisse's dancing.

QPR are missing Faurlin big-time, he was the one player who they had in the middle of the park that never gave the ball away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Really disappointing half from QPR. With the players they have, they really should be taking this game by the scruff of the neck. The Bolton defence as well just goes into panic anytime the ball gets in the last third of their side of the pitch. Barton has been anonymous for QPR, he can never again accuse players of being sh!t if he takes this QPR team down this season.

Linesman an absolute disgrace, shocking decision!

The other linesman gives them that after the other fella's howler earlier in the game!

QPR to get a dodgy penalty in the second half.

    Or an offside goal :pac:

Huge goal for QPR, deflected pass from Diakite.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Officials in ''evening things out'' shocker

What a bunch of spineless twats we have officiating games at the highest level. They'll be delighted now so that both managers can say ''well they got this one, but this one shouldn't have been allowed''.

There's bound to be more awful decisions in the Premier League today too, it's an absolute joke.

Delighted to see Cisse score mind, loved him at Sunderland.

Am I the only one that wants to see Bolton go down so I don't have to listen to Owen Coyle putting ''The Barclays Premier League'' into every single sentence?

Honestly, if either of these two teams were relegated this season, you wouldn't really mind too much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

This is an awful, awful game of football.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,420 ✭✭✭electrobanana

Come on QPR ffs don't balls up my accumulator with the first game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

The defensive mistakes from both teams have been shocking. Sam Ricketts has just been creating all sorts of trouble for himself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Owen Coyle is a god awful manager.

He better keep up the ass kissing of anyone that matters or else he'll find himself out of the job.

Hugely HUGELY overrated manager, Jonathan Wilson revealed some of his stats recently that also show that the idea Owen Coyle likes to play "attractive football" is also a fallacy, and how Coyle treated him with contempt for having the cheek to tell it like it is :p

In fairness, he has NO money. Apparently 11 players are out of contract at the end of the season. These guys aren't going to have the stomach for a relegation battle if they know they're out the door regardless.

Eddie Davies and Phil Gartside have been planning for relegation its fair to say.

That game was so disgustingly bad that I've switched it off for rugby.

    Fooking RUGBY.

    How is it not 1-2?

    2-1 Bolton, tidy finish Klasnic!

Wonderful control and assist from Miyachi to set him up.

Isn't that Ryo on loan from Arsenal?
He's a tricky little customer. He can take credit for making that.

He is yeah. If he turns out like his Football Manager counterpart he will be great.

This Diakite fella on the other hand... Is there a stat that tracks the highest fouls per min ratio?

Mark Hughes is gonna spontaneously combust at full time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Huge, huge win for Bolton. Didn't deserve it at all, but they battled hard and made their chances count. Like I said, QPR have the players, so why did they only start playing in the last 10 minutes?

    Hughes is spitting with rage.

    QPR are going down

Cue Owen Coyle bigging QPR up in the post match conference as being one of the best sides in Europe now. And also talking up Mark Hughes as a "top, top manager".

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭Reekwind

Huge win today. I still think that we'll go down but this was needed if we were to have any hope of surviving. The season just got interesting again

More worrying for me is that players that he has bought. Eagles, Prately, N'gog (for four million!), etc. These are not Premier League standard players

Yup, Arsene is a big fan of his too. Went out of his way to get a special talent visa for him this season too so he could be a part of the first team squad. Injuries put paid to that in the end though. I'd imagine he'll be involved with the first team next season.

Agreed, but those are the type of players who will realistically want to come and play for Bolton for £20k or so a week. The days of signing the likes of Anelka for £8 million and paying £40-50k a week are gone according to Gartside.

QPR have to go down. They've just come out of an easy run of games in which they've played the teams below them. Say they're dead certs along with Wigan, other spot will be tight

Just watched the highlights, does Klasnic hate Coyle or what! Can't say I blame him tbh
