    Hi All,

Signed up to the Netflix Irish/Uk site during week for free months Trial.

I have been watching Breaking Bad for a few nights and when I logged in last night the series seems to be deleted from my profile.

I rang the call centre for assistance and they advised me to delete my cookies which I did and then advised they were having a tech issue and would be resolved???

logged in again and still no joy, anyone else having similar issues or would know how i can retrieve that series cant at all figure out why it is removed from the catalogue of programs and the lady I spoke with in the call centre was quite unsure so just feel i was being fobbed off.

    Thanks

It's gone from my listing too. I was actually trying to check out if Series 3 was up yet but now 1 and 2 seem to be gone.

Possibly a licensing issue, that would be my guess anyways!

Season 3 is only just after getting a UK release date (on DVD only, those Money Men be stupid) for May.

If you cancel a subscription, you should be allowed use the service for the remainder of time you have paid for, so you will loose access a month from previous pay date

I would've thought that if you cancel its effective immediately, regardless of when you paid to take advantage of people forgetting to cancel shortly before the due date

From expierience with web services, which use subscriptions when you cancel a service, you are cancelling the "auto renew" feature of that service. It would not be fair for a user to sign up for a particular service, think half way through I'm not interested, cancel and not get anything back for the other half month.
I've no expierience with Netflix, but I couldn't see how they would be allowed stop the service after someone cancels their subscription if they have time left on it (having been paid for). I think it would work a bit like anti virus subscriptions for e.g

From my experience with other free trials, I have always cancelled straight away after I sign up and I still have access for the month's free trial. I would imagine it would be the same for Netflix. I've done this for online games mainly.

Just saw this on their sign up page ( https://www1.netflix.com/payment ) :

    "No commitments:
    Cancel online at any time
Cancel at any time during your free month and you will not be charged.
We ask for your payment information now so you can easily enjoy Netflix uninterrupted after your free month ends."

I'm back to edit this message again! I just signed up to Netflix and immediately cancelled my subscription, tried a few films after cancellation and they're playing fine.

Netflix wont always announce when it pulls shows and movies, and sometimes its contractually obligated to. The launch into Ireland will undoubtedly result in a few erratic pulldowns as their vendors sort out what they want out there and what they dont.
