I have multiroom at the moment and am thinking of changing to single subscription to save a bit of cash. I just wanted to check that on the other box I'd be able to receive the free to view channels.

    Thanks

    :D

Simply remove the Sky card from the box and you will see what channels are left available.

Yes you'll be able to get FTA channels.

I think the way it works is if you have one of the older boxes, take out the Sky card and I think you get the UK EPG i.e. BBC1 at channel 101, etc.

If it's the newer HD box you'll only get some of the channels on the EPG and the rest you'll get through the 'Other Channels' button e.g. ITV, etc. Can be a hassle doing it that way. Some people get a FTV card online which would give you an UK EPG with all the channels easily accessible.

Thanks very much. I'll give that a shot. The people at Sky said I should be able to receive the free ones, but past experience has taught me not to trust the vested interests!!
