corkie im going to have to employ you on a full time basis!!
i just read online that some ppl have the phone buttons on the radio but no bluetooth module but i would expect the titanium to have it as its the top spec model isnt it?

It was an option on all Focus at the time. Many came with that option ticked as it was good value. You can tell if the car has it by a voice activation button on the remote audio controls.

I think it was an option/extra. It's not standard on a new one today.

The 6000CD radio that comes with just about any Ford has a phone button, but in nearly all cases it's merely a mute button.

thats a real pity...the module proably costs a fotune too

Actually iirc a Titanium Estate was never sold here, so would presumably be a UK import, so Corkie might be correct after all.

I have a 2008 studio focus, no bluetooth on the headunit when i got the car. So I got a Bluetooth unit on Ebay for £350 from the UK. Swaped it with my non bluetooth unit, very easy to do. I then sold my original unit on ebay went for £280. £70 not bad i thought for the up grade.

I've a March 08 UK s-max titanium which had bluetooth as an option only. Course it wasn't included on mine. I have the Sony single cd disc unit and it has the bloody phone buttons but no bluetooth. As far as I know, bluetooth became std spec on UK models from April 08:mad:

Im not so sure about that ive an 09 focus zetec originally from the uk and she doesnt have bluetooth but the sis has a 09 style uk also and it has bluetooth
A ford dealer can check if its fitted easily enough or else just try searching the menu on the radio itll be around there somewhere if its fitted :D wouldnt turn me off the car if its not im happier with my car still it is absolutely mint couldnt pass it off

It's a simple check for a voice control button in a focus. On the Mondeo i drive it's a two way rocker switch on the indicator stalk. The same on a galaxy or smax.

I believe it only became common fitment on later run out models.

It was standard on Irish 2007 LX and Zetec Connection models.

Of course, but they were only special editions despite the LX one selling well the zetec based one was a great specification.
