This motor been lying up in my ould fellas garage for the last 5 years,he drove it in and it never drove back out!He has the dehumidifier running pretty much all the time as he has 2 other cars in there.so theres no damp.I want rid of it to make room for a home gym ;)
any way as far as I know its a kit car.A triumph chassis/2.0 engine and a MG F kit.I stand to be corrected on that.I think its 1972ish.Dont know when it was converted and its a uk import. The roof is there somewhere!
is there a market for this type of classic?
    Cheers
excuse the pics it was my cheap phone!

It is so hard to say what anything is worth these days, really it is down to what someone is willing to pay really and very much dependent on condition and how well the kit was built.

Are contents included in sale? :p

You could be right about the Triumph Chassis and Engine but maybe not a 6 cylinder, maybe its the 4 cylinder, there were a few Kit Cars that used the Triumph running gear.
If it was my Car and i was trying to sell it id get all the Junk out of it push it outside and take some decent Photos and a better discription, then Post it back up here for more Advice.

It looks very like a Naylor replica MG...It has radiator grille from an MG ZA/ZB.. As to worth? how ever much somebody will pay for it I guess!

    It belongs to my da,
I really dont think he'd sell it.(plus I want it for myself ;))
there's some bubbly paint around the bonnet and it needs a new roof cloth.
the interior is absolute mint in it.
I think it was bored out by the original owner so it a 2.2

Reg check on white car ( ZV36755 ) is coming back as a Merc 220 1959. If that is the right plate.

I think it's ZV 36759, which lists as an MG 'Unknown'.

Like others have said its hard to put a value on the MG. Maybe put it up on an MG site?

As for the 2002 I'd love it! Hope its looked after in all of this!

    dont worry about the 2002,
hoping to get it out for an airing soon enough.
and I'd love to address the roof cloth issue.
any other 2002 owners out there?

Impossible to put a price on it, It is worth what someone who wants this type of a toy would value it at. A genuine MG like that in mint condition would make about E20.000+ on E.Bay. An off the wall price for this is probably E 3000, but who knows?
