Help picking a table please?

    Hi all, my mother wants to buy her partner a snooker or pool table for his birthday.

    It's most definitely not for serious use, but she wants to get a relatively decent one - i.e. not a flimsy one.

    Second hand is fine once it's in good condition, and I think it would have to be no more than 8 ft or so in length. Budget is around 700, provided transport to Dublin wouldn't be too much more.

    Something like this looks good, though it's a bit over budget:

    Are some foldaway ones like this one below any good, or is she better off going for one with solid legs etc?
