    Hi all,

I need to get a shed built at some stage. I'd like something fairly secure for storage of garden tools and so on. 20x10 feet would be a nice size.

Would anyone know the rough cost for either timber or block built?

Something on the lines of this design either timber or block. The shed in the pic is 20x10 also.

    Thanks :)

    Depends on..
how much of the work will you do yourself?
can you source second hand materials? (Door, windows)
standard of finish. (insulation, plaster etc)

I'm more than half way through building a block shed a bit bigger than yours and I'm hoping to come in at around €4,500.
I've done most of the work myself, bought second hand PVC windows and door. I include everything in the cost, skips, tool hire, materials, labour.

How big is your shed and will it have a toilet in it?

Hello Siteset. I'm actually looking at doing very much similar. 4m x 6m x 4m high, pitched roof, insulated. Waiting for prices. Any chance you could PM me a very rough costing for the building?

    - Two rooms as such - one for lawnmowers etc + tools. One for storage
of household goods (clearing our rooms, but have to be dry) Would
seperate the rooms with a studded partition I'd reckon.

    - Loft. Size not that important - just to have it.

    - Don't want a sliding or roll-up door, as they'd let the damp in, so probably
looking a PCV double-door for the main part, and a single door for the
other. Two PVC windows. One in each section
