    Hi guys.

Basically i'm trying to organise a holiday for myself and my girlfriend anytime between mid May and September. We havn't the first clue about this sort of thing, so maybe if i posted a few criteria you guys could help.

    - We are 19 and 21 (both students).
    - We would like to go somewhere that accepts the euro currency.
    - Preferably for 7 days or as long as our budget will allow.
    - Not looking to go to Ibiza or some horrible tacky clubbing town, but not looking for isolation either.
    - The emphasis is on cheap. not looking for a five star hotel, anywhere will do as long as its clean/respectable.
    - Would like to be by the sea.

Realistically we have about 1200 max between us to spend on this (+ day to day spending money of course).

can anybody recommend a country? holiday? travel agency/ website etc? or do we have enough money to work with at all?

    thanks in advance :)

4 cities that jumped to mind when reading over your criteria were San Sebastien, Porto, Lisbon and Valencia. The first at a guess is a bit more expensive than the others, but I've heard great things about each place from many different sources who have been. Plus it'll be somewhere a little different so you can actually have a few original stories, instead of the usual sun spots that most folk flock to.

Sounds as if your both new to this.

Take a trip down to your local travel agent, they will offer you great advice and recommendations! Pick up a few travel brochures when your there.
