didnt pay teaching council fee in 3 years!

    my other half has not paid the 90e in three years.... is 4 years permanent in a community school ( old style permenent not CID).... not likely to leave the job either. we heard it is only really needed iin a case of CID/re deployment or a new teacher would need it startin out..... Is this OK???
    havent got any letter of renewal letter.... also heard this payment to the TC does not become law until this sept

    Loads in my school haven't paid. It's not like they can really fire you.

    yep i know a few who havent paid it either just wonder would pay be docked or the likes!!!

    they intend enacting the part this year that means no membership=no pay and also they will make it very difficult to get registered again i.e. dig out the parchments,

    Also note if there is any job e.g. DP, you must be a member.
    If you are part of any Dept group e.g. pdst etc doing some inservice training or workshop, no expenses can be paid unless you are registered

    A colleague of mine has money waiting for her for giving inservice, but it can't be approved as she never registered.
