    I agree. Let current agency model distributors buy as many copies of digital books as they need for half the price they plan to sell them on for, and then let the publishers wonder why they only make €7 for every book they publish. Much better plan than getting 70% of whatever price they decide to set themselves.

    In fairness to Jobs he needed to give publishers a good reason in order to make Apple's book store filled with content.
