Any way to find out the time of a Power Cut with my PC logs?

I rarely fully shut-down my PC unless it starts acting up, but I do put it to sleep every night.

Today, when i woke up, I realised the socket power was gone and the trip switch on the fusebox was activated. My PC booted just fine and all appears to be running OK. I have win 7 32-bit for the record.

So, out of curiosity, is there any way to tell, through the PC, what time exactly the power cut happened so i might be able to get to the bottom of the reason in case it happens again?

I tried to view the event viewer but there is a jump between the time I put her to sleep and time I rebooted.

Would the PC log such an event (unexpected shutdown) while in sleep mode or am I at nothing here?

And, on a lighter note, what with the current Solar Storm going on, has this happened to anyone else or is it just a co-incidence?
