    Could anyone tell me what went wrong for this driver (other than the obvious that he drove too fast for the given conditions)? Warning! Rather drastic scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMpa6FhUyoU

    Also, do you agree that driving a SUV type of vehicle is effectively more dangerous as the driver puts himself and the vehicle in road situations he would not find himself if driving a regular, say saloon type of car?

    That wasnt particularly pleasant to watch...

    Looks to me like he drifted wide onto the snow/ice and lost control.

    I am not sure what you mean by the last question tbh.

    Fwiw, it's a Nissan navara. Not exactly an suv and a completely different type of driver (in this country anyway).
