There's a luas outside the door of the hotel which will get you to ranelagh and you could walk from there. Or else get the luas a little further in as far as the canal and walk. 20 mins Walk approx.

Was going to say the 114 bus to Blackrock Dart however it doesn't run on Sundays if I remember correctly.

Luas Central Park to Charlamount and walk down, not that far really.

It's a tedious business hotel by the way so don't be expecting to have the craic there. Have your fun in town.

You could always get the Aircoach from the hotel and get off at the Burlington Hotel, it's about a 15 minute walk from there to the stadium and you'll pass plenty of pubs on the way for refreshment stops. Cheaper than a taxi, more comfortable than the Luas, think it's worth a look.

I don't think the Aircoach will let you get off before the airport (but I'm not sure). The 47 bus leaves from outside the hotel and goes all the way to Ballsbridge but it only comes about once an hour so you'd need to look it up and put your faith in the new GPS thing that the buses have.

Taxi straight up N11. Will be nearby in no time. When traffic gets chocka, hop out and walk rest of way.
    Easy.

The 47 only starts up the road so will be pretty reliable I reckon - I get it from Sandyford every morning and it's like clockwork then. It's probably the best option. It should take about 30-40 mins or so to get to Ballsbridge - maybe a little more depending on traffic. Prob the cheapest and easiest option.

Yeah they'd probably need to be stopping to do a pick up to allow you off. Having said that I've always found the drivers sound would not be surprised if they agreed to let you off. More expensive but handier than Luas in terms of walk on far side (but only by about 5-10 mins).

Check in the foyer for a notice of a bus to and from the Aviva, I know they did it to Croke Park for the internationals a few times and they run one to the Point for concerts, cost about a tenner.

    Hey Cottager

I'll be heading in from there as I'll be staying with the girlfriend who lives up that way. I'll probably walk down and pop into the Lep Inn for a sneaky pint and pick up some others, then onto the 46A (Bus) and get off at Donnybrook and stroll down and maybe into Ballsbridge for another sneaky pint before probably into the Lansdowne clubhouse for one more (just to settle the nerves and moisten the vocal cords) before taking my seat. You're more than welcome to join me and I can show you the way.

With a few pints on board you won't notice the walk......
