LLB part time and signing on?

I am doing the LLB next year (part-time) after I finish up with my Corp Law Degree.. Just wondering if anyone knows if I could sign on while doing this and how much I would get? Obviously id like to get a part-time job but there is no guarantee id get one!

Unless things have changed it's possible. I know of people who've been doing in within the last 12 months. I've no idea of how much you'll get but once you qualify it'll be based one personal circumstances the same as if you were out of work.
