OK I will try be short but clear.

I work nights most of the year. (9 months) In Ireland holiday pay is the average of the last 13 weeks of pay before holidays. Is there a European law like this and if so where could I find it?

I work in Germany and holiday pay is at basic with shift allowance etc. I get paid less for taking holidays then if I work.

    Thanking you in advance :)

    Gar

    :D

Each state has its own rules. In Ireland the Working Time Act covers most of the pertinent conditions.
