Formatted wrong drive - Best software to recover?

    I accidentally formatted the wrong drive using Dariks Boot & Nuke. But since I stopped it at 2% I'm hoping I can recover some data from the drive. What would the best software be to attempt a recovery?

    The best software is WinHex... by a countrymile (or the lite version Davory for data recovery only).

    If you're looking for free, try TestDisk & PhotoRec or Recuva.

    I've had good experiences with this in the past. Acronis do some decent tools for this too, name escapes me.

    Actually with Dariks Boot & Nuke you're not formatting the drive but writing zeros to it.
