Hey guys, Q-Con is a convention run in Queens University Belfast. It's a mix of things like anime, video games and tabletop gaming. It's generally on in June but the details haven't been confirmed yet.

At the moment they are looking for input on the games that they should and general interest.

There's a survey that you can take regarding the games : http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WFC3G28

I know they had a COD tournament last year so I thought you guys might be interested. Would anyone be interested? What kind of tournaments, formats, situations would interest you?
It'll be on Friday to Sunday so if you were travelling what days would you be travelling for or would you be willing to stay?

Posted with the mods permission. thanks all.

Are there prizes at this? I see Killzone 3 is on from 8-11pm on Saturday, I could probably get a team for that if there were prizes.

Same goes for a modern warfare 3 event on PS3

Sounds like you're looking at last years timetable. It's not confirmed for this year yet but you have reminded me to throw up a link to the website so people can have a better idea of what it is.

There was prizes for tournaments in previous years. As it's college event they weren't able to do cash prizes but they did vouchers and what not, it was based on numbers that entered.

I'd seriously recommend heading up with a bunch of mates. It's a long distance alright but it's a great event and the craic you can have at an event with a bunch of like-minded people is through the roof.
