Currently looking at a civic 03 hatchback.
Has a lot of receipts and service history.
It does have 107000 miles on the clock. Is this a problem and what problems should I look out for around that mileage.

Really wanted a 1.6, but finding it hard to find a decent one at the minute. So might just go for the 1.4.

    Thanks

Check the gear box for noise when in neutral or in gear (with the clutch engaged). I had this on my 03 1.4 Civic recently. When having a refurbished box put in I was told it was a common enough fault.

The noise was an obvious grinding noise when in neutral or pulling away in 1st. It was less obvious at cruising speed.

Clutch release bearing runs dry and squeals/grinds/barks/etc.
