    hey guys,
    just wondering is there a formula for calculating the weight of a heifer, is it just multiplying girth and height??.. haven't got around to buying a scales yet.. thanks in advance for any help.

    Girth x girth x length /300 will give you weight in lbs

    is that girth squared x lenth from hip to shoulder divided by 300. does this hold for bulls as well ?

    Yes girth squared and length from the point of shoulder to tail head it will work for bulls and heifers.
