    Hi all,

Anybody been to Ibiza for a family holiday?? Or more specifially Puerto de San Miguel?

Have heard that it's a nice Island.

On the lookout for a family holiday for a week anytime from May to September.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

Yes its not bad, Santa Eulalia is another nice family location.

Probably want to stay away from IBIZA Town as it can be a bit hectic :)

    Hi Keith,

The island is becoming more and more popular for family visitors as the party groups are going else where as the island has become expensive compared to other holiday resorts like Crete etc.. for the clubbing scene.

As a family I would recommend Santa Eulalia which has a nice relaxed vibe about it and is away from the party scene but has plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops as well as being right on a beach with water sports.

San Miguel is also a nice place to stay but is rather small and limited but if your happy with just relaxing on the beach then its perfect.

Ibiza town I would still recommend a visit as it's got a lot of charm and also visiting Dalt Villa which is the old town built within a fort and taking a stroll to the top and seeing some magnificent views over a lot of the island. Night time yes gets a bit loud along the harbour but is this happens in Aug at the height of the season.

Hot spots to avoid for families is San Antonio and Playa D'en Bossa as main spots for the party goers.

Popular time is June and September for families.

    Hope this is a help.
