How'd I do? Takamine Guitar purchase

Hi Guys,

First post in here! What do you reckon on this one:

Popped into the local pawn shop today to have a look around, behind the glass I spot a 'Takamine G-Series' (eg340sc) with a €150 tag on it! The bad boy looked sweet, with just a few very very minor scrapes to the edges, localised hairline scratches to the finish etc, but, otherwise gleaming.

So, I race home, with images of having this Takamine in 20 years time with a hole wore in it ala. Glen Hansard, grab my Yamaha f310 (which I had bought at the same shop a few months previous for €40 - a steal I reckon for what was a lovely condition guitar!). Trade in the Yam and get the Taki for €100

I'm only relatively new to guitar playing, but really enjoying it and making good progress! Started out with a freebie, basic, 'Stagg', moved onto the Yam and now the Taki, the latter feels like heaven compared to the previous two, as regards feel and sound

I reckon I done pretty good??

In general, I reckon that if you´re happy with the outcome, then you did well.

Theyre 400quid on thomann so I'd say its around the right price. Give or take 50-60% for a used example in good condition. Yours has some wear&tear so around 150 seems right. Looks like a nice guitar.

A good guitar for nice money. Tak's are built like tanks, good you got the "sc" model as it has the solid spruce top me thinks.
