    Hi,

I have just gotten married yesterday and am now wondering who I have to notify of the change in marital status?
Revenue, bank, insurance, employer come to mind - anyone I may be missing?

    Thanks!

Other than the revenue for tax purposes and depending on how you want to be assessed, I don't think it's anyone else's business.
Unless you'd like to add your husband/wife to your medical insurance, life insurance, etc...

Yeah, just revenue for tax purposes. If your tax credits change then revenue will notify your employer.

Your employer may need to know if you have things like a pension or health insurance scheme in work, so that your spouse can be included on these things, but otherwise they don't need to know.

Nobody else needs to know unless you are changing the way you're doing business with them. For example, if you want a joint bank account.

One important thing to note on car insurance is that if your new spouse has previously been driving your car on their own insurance policy (i.e. not as a named driver), then you must change your policy to include them as a named driver on yours (and vice-versa).
A "driving other cars" extension never applies to cars belonging to one's spouse, you must be a named driver on their policy to drive their car.
