Hi, Have a Hoover fan assisted oven and has cut out twice ,I noticed the fan is not turning,Is there any other reason but a faulty fan for this to happen, recently heard a squealing noise an strange smell,

    Are fans easily replaced.

    Thanks Don

I had a similar problem with our fan oven . The fan was labouring and only turning very slowly. I fixed it by turning on the pyro cleaning function on the oven. I think it must have been grease as it worked fine after this.

If you don't have a pyro cleaning option maybe try the oven on at full power for a while to see if it works. Failing that I guess its an electricians job!

    most likely the fan alright
only way is to check it with a multimeter though
