I'm getting married next week. We're keeping it as simple as possible - just us and our two witnesses. We have our appointment for the Registry Office, which we got three months ago and we've done absolutely nothing since (and nor is there anything indicated in the paperwork).

We're beginning to think that we must have forgotten to do something important!

Do we just turn up on the day?

Booking your date at the registry office is separate from getting a marriage licence. Have you applied and got your marriage licence? You need to give at least 3 months' notice.
